I am looking for any information on my great grandfather John Alexander born born 7th March 1900 in Wigtown and died 5th October 1984 in Carlisle. John was a police officer and had at least 2 son's that we know of - John also known as Ian (my grandfather) and William who died 6th of July 1978.
We would be grateful for any information would be great and a photo would be amazing.Thank youLinda Alexander
