MY MILLOM - GOOD, BAD OR NEEDS CHANGING?

MY MILLOM - GOOD, BAD OR NEEDS CHANGING?

A group representing various sections of the Millom community are hoping to develop a MILLOM COMMUNITY PLAN. It is hoped this plan can have a public launch in April 2011.

The Group would like your feedback and comments to help prioritise the issues in Millom for the Community Plan. Please bear in mind that the Community Plan will be developed from feedback from YOU not from them. The Group will just collate your responses and present them at the April launch meeting which will be publicly advertised.

We would like to know:

WHAT YOU LIKE ABOUT MILLOM?
WHAT YOU DO NOT LIKE ABOUT MILLOM?
WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO CHANGE?

Please enter your comments below. Please feel free to comment on any issue relating to Millom, but you may also wish to comment on one or more of the issues below. Please bear in mind that all comments will be moderated for inappropriate language but the message will try to be preserved. Please also bear in mind that the Group wish to develop a Plan that will benefit all sections of Millom's Community.

Areas you may like to comment on are as follows:
a. Governance: Is there effective and inclusive participation, representation and leadership?
b. Transport & Connectivity: Good transport services and communications linking people to jobs, schools, health and other services?
c. Services: A full range of appropriate, accessible public, private, community and voluntary services?
d. Environmental: Providing places for people to live in an environmentally-friendly way?
e. Economy: A flourishing and diverse local economy?
f. Housing and the built environment:: A quality built and natural environment?
g. Social and Cultural: Vibrant, harmonious and inclusive communities?
h. Equity: Fair for everyone, including those in other communities who use its services now and in the future?
