CHRISTINE HAS SAID SHE WOULD REQUIRE SOME ASSISTANCE UNTIL SHE FULLY GETS THE BOOKS UP AND RUNNING..
WE CAN NOW GET ON WITH THE RUNNING OF THE GROUP....
IT HAS BEEN REPORTED THAT A CERTAIN TAXI FIRM IN BARROW IS PUTTING 50% EXTRA ON THE FARE FOR WHEELCHAIR USERS.THIS IS CLASSED AS A PRIVATE HIRE CAB, (YOU PHONE FOR THEM, NOT PICK UP AT TAXI RANKS)
EXTRA.....APPARENTLY PRIVATE CABS AND MINI CAB ARE WANTING TO DOUBLE THE FAIR FOR WHEELCHAIR USERS, ALL DISABLE GROUPS ARE APPEALING TO THEIR MP`s TO VOTE IT OUT...IT IS UNFAIR ACCORDINGLY TO THE "EQUALITY ACT"
