It has been confirmed by the Operations Manager (Barrow)Stagecoach in Cumbria,to the SCDG Secretary, that from August 31st the vehicle that will be used on the Millom Town services will be a lo-floor vehicle The vehicle WILL be wheelchair accessible, but the difficulties that may arise are the parked cars etc,and not being able to access pavements on many parts of the routes. The drivers will find the nearest point to the bus stop that they can deploy the ramp. The SCDG are more than delighted with this news, and thank Stagecoach for coming in well before 2015 with a wheelchair accessible bus.
