Millom crossbow charge

A MAN has been charged with common assault in relation to an alleged crossbow incident in Millom.

Keith Bibby, 47, of Lord Street, Millom, was arrested and charged by police yesterday in connection with an alleged incident in Lord Street on August 7.

Bibby is alleged to have had a crossbow in the premises while making threats towards himself and another person.

He is due to appear before Furness Magistrates’ Court but police were last night unable to confirm a date.
